Venus and the sea

Located in Portovenere, precisely in the seaside village of Fezzano where, according to legend, in the 15th century Simonetta Cattaneo Vespucci was born, the woman who inspired Sandro Botticelli in creating his masterpiece 'The Birth of Venus'. The Venus and the Sea apartment is situated in a typical Ligurian “caruggio”, with a sea view over the village of Cadimare and its small harbor; equipped with Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and kettle; it also has a washing machine, mosquito nets, and 2 water cooling fans, a living room with a flat-screen Smart TV and a queen sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. In the immediate vicinity, about 150 meters away, there are excellent restaurants specializing in seafood cuisine, bars, shops, the tourist harbor, and also a free equipped beach with a shower; furthermore, for nature and trekking lovers, about 50 meters away there are paths leading to the Alta Via Del Golfo and the Cinque Terre. Parking is about 100-150 meters away. The village of Portovenere can be easily reached in 10 minutes by car or by the frequent bus service; the bus stop is 50 meters from the apartment. During the summer months, there is a regular navigation service with boats to Portovenere, and from there to the Cinque Terre, departing from the port of Fezzano. The city of La Spezia can be reached in just 10 minutes by car or by the local bus. The Cinque Terre can be reached in 15/20 minutes by car or by the convenient tourist train from La Spezia Centrale station. In about 30 minutes by car, you can reach other beautiful seaside towns such as Lerici, Tellaro, San Terenzo, and also the valleys of Lunigiana.
